Let me reveal right away that India is not the country with the most opportunities when it comes to online survey sites. But that does not mean that there are no good opportunities because there definitely are some great and high-paying survey sites to join in India.
There are A LOT of sites you can join, but that you can join a site does not necessarily mean it has good options for India or good options in general.
Some sites might be great in one country, but do not have many offers for other countries. That is just how it is, and no matter where in the world you live, you have to find the best sites specifically for your country.
When you find legit and genuine sites that actually pay and have a good amount of opportunities, it can be a very nice way to make some extra cash.
Just be aware that no matter where in the world you live, paid surveys are not a way to become rich. If any survey site is promising you this, it is most likely a scam site you should stay away from.
So, if you are looking for online survey jobs in India that can help you make a living and become rich, you will not find them.

Obviously, you can make money by taking online surveys and sharing your opinion on survey sites, but there are also often several other ways you can make money, which some people, unfortunately, sometimes overlook and potentially miss out on some great opportunities.
The sites with other options are often called GPT (Get-Paid-To) sites, as you can get paid for a number of things.
This can, for example, be earned by playing games, clicking ads, watching videos, participating in free contests, solving CAPTCHA, downloading apps, and more.
For India, this is very interesting as there might be some sites that do not have a lot of surveys for you, but where the other options are good. I am assuming you live in India since you are commenting on this article? Just want to make sure to give the best possible advice.
If you live in India, I must be honest with you and say that you should not expect to be able to earn $1000 per month by taking surveys – in some countries, it can be possible but only in very few countries. With joining all of the sites on the list you will definitely be able to make some nice extra cash in India, but not that much, unfortunately.
So if your goal is to make $1000+ per month online there are other options you should go for instead. However, making that kind of money online will require some time to learn some skills and built it up so the money will not come right away. And to get to that income and beyond online, you should be prepared to invest a little.
Surveys can give you some great extra cash and what I love about this option is that you can get started right away and you will also start earning right away and without any costs at all. But it does also have its limitations in terms of earning potential compared to some other online earning methods that then require more time and has some investment.
Just wanted to make that clear so you know what to expect and know what the opportunities, in general, are online.

With the goals you mentioned earlier you would have to start building a real online income and cannot rely on paid surveys. This will, however, take quite some time, hard work, and at least a small investment. But the income potential is then also huge.
The platform I have used for this has a total fee of around $1-$2 per day but then that includes everything you need to build a real online income. It has a free trial as well, but if you want to achieve your goals, you would need to get the paid membership.

This is what I wish to do and tried earlier too. Due to various personal reasons, I have to leave it half way. I want to restart it and put my full effort into it. But, since I am unemployed over 5 years by now, my situation is quite tight to my concentrated and focused effort into it. But as mentioned, this is not a way you can make a living at all but it can give you a few extra bucks. Freelance portals would also be an option until you then get your own online business and income going.
Also, doing things like this can be a way to fund the investment to start building your own income.
About needing some help to get started, this is perfectly normal. It is a jungle to find the right options online – when I first started to build an online business I thought I could figure it out myself but it was not until I got some support I started succeeding.
And the fear of failing is also very common online but it can definitely be overcome. With your interest, goals and the fact that you love writing, you have some great skills that can take you far online. Yes, it is not very clear on PayPal what to choose. But you should choose the option called “For Shoppers” in India.
This will make it possible for you to get an individual account so you can receive and send money online as well as shop online. The two other options are for businesses.

Hi Mikael, Just like AdsitalSolution, is there any legitimate survey site that originates within India? I live in India. I am looking at avoiding the extra expenses of PayPal and opt for direct NEFT credit or Paytm options.
There are more sites that offer Paytm. I remember I have seen it for several sites but cannot remember all of them. But a site like Panel Station, for example, does offer it, and also the brand new panel called LifePoints Panel, which I will soon post a review about.
These are the ones that just come to my mind.

Just wanted to leave a feedback for new users from India who want to use Swagbucks. Sure its a genuine that pays. I have been using it for 2 months now. But for Indians, the earning potential is low.
To start with, in the Home screen, there is a 15 min survey for 60 SB from ups.surveyrouter site. It has never worked till date. It will ask all prequalification questions every single time just to tell you “WE’RE SORRY! It appears as though there are no surveys available for you”.
The other options viz. Swag Code, Sweepstake option, Free Offers, Grocery coupons, etc. also dont work for India. I heard so much about Watch video and earn option in swagbucks but there is no such option seen in my login till date. Even surveys under Discover option viz. AdGem, AdscendMedia, etc dont work. Revenue Universe option works and you will be able to complete surveys too. But after you finish the survey, the points do not get added in your SB Account.
In short, EXCEPT for Daily Poll, Daily Search, and Gold Surveys (which gets filled up fast) , AdGate Media under Discover option, nothing else works for India. To top it, you get rejected in Gold Surveys mostly because of demographical reasons. Thankfully you get 1 SB there for disqualification. But you will have to stay online for a longer period of time to collect these peanuts into real money.
So after working 2 months ie 60 days for 10 to 12 hours everyday, I have managed to get $15 ie around Rs.900/-. In India, the electricity bill and internet bill expenditure for the time spent is much more than the money received through Swagbucks. Just wanted to leave this thought for the newcomers venturing into the survey-taking line.

I would NOT recommend Paidera. It is a waste of time, in my opinion.
How much you can earn daily by taking paid surveys is impossible to give an exact answer for. It depends a lot on your profile and the sites you join. Some days you will easily qualify for a lot of surveys and other days it will be harder and you will not qualify for many.
Also, be aware that many of the sites on the list above offer additional ways to earn so if you have a hard time qualifying for surveys, it is good to also use some of the other methods.
One thing that is important to know about paid surveys is that they are a great way to make a bit of money on the side for free but they will NOT make you anything near a full-time income. That is important to know so you do it with the right expectations.
