Before getting to the list of the best survey panels, let’s first look into how the opportunities, in general, are to make money like this in Malaysia, so you know what you can expect.
How many opportunities you have to earn from online paid surveys depends a lot on the country you live in. Malaysia is not one of the countries that has the most opportunities, but luckily, it still has some really good options, so it is definitely possible to make some extra cash online like this.
Several of the big and popular survey sites are available in Malaysia, and some of them even offer platforms in Malay, which makes them even easier to use (I will explain which ones on the list below).
Just be aware that doing paid surveys will not make you rich, so survey jobs are not something you can do for a living. I always make sure to make this clear so you know what to expect. You can definitely make some really nice extra cash, but you just need to do it with the right expectations.
How to earn the most?
To get the most chances to earn, it is best to join several sites.
Often, the different sites have different opportunities in Malaysia, and by joining more, you will naturally have more opportunities to earn. I recommend joining 6-8 sites for a start if you have not done paid surveys before. Once you get to know these sites, you can then start joining more.
A small tip to earn extra is to be aware that several of the platforms on the list below do not only offer paid surveys. They also offer other ways to earn. The sites with more earning options are often known as GPT sites (Get-Paid-To).
On these, you can, for example, earn by taking online offers, doing online micro-tasks, watching videos, downloading apps, clicking ads, chatting, playing games, and more. There are even some options where you can earn completely passively.

The reason it is not on the list even though it is a big and famous site is that it does NOT accept members from Malaysia – I just wanted to make that clear as many have asked me about this.

I have signed up for toluna, clixsense, and prizerebel but I am unable to take or complete any surveys since . Is this Normal? I’m just not able to qualify or take any surveys at all after 2 days or trying .

That does sound a bit strange. However, both on ClixSense and PrizeRebel it can take a bit of testing to find the surveys you qualify for. In the beginning I also got rejected a lot, but after testing many of them, I found out what kind of surveys/what survey providers, I had the best chance of qualifying for and which ones I never qualified for, and then I focused on the ones with the best opportunities. I still often do not qualify, but I do not spend much time trying to take the “wrong” surveys anymore.
Another suggestion is also to look into taking the Figure Eight tasks on ClixSense and PrizeRebel – in the long run these can also give some nice extra earnings.
On Toluna I do not really know what the reason can be – you are not using a VPN or are in a different country than where you registered from when registering for the platform are you? Because that can give problems. If that is not the case, I would suggest to give it a try a few more days, and if it is still the same then write Toluna’s official support and ask what is going on.

Hi Mikael, Thanks for the reply.
The problem I’m facing with prizerebel is everytime I go into the surveys page, I see a bunch of surveys, but when I click on each and everyone of them they redirect me to the page your-surveys.com. Which is just a page stating how to complete a survey and that’s it – nothing happens after that. It doesn’t redirect me to a survey or there is nothing on the page which I can click.
The only thing I can do is press the back button on the browser which brings me back to the surveys page in prizerebel. I’m using an iPad and have had the cookies enabled. I am not using a VPN or any blocking software as well.
That sounds unusual. Usually I do not have problems like that when taking the YourSurveys offers. I have however not tried on an iPad, but it should not be a problem. YourSurveys can however be a bit strict. I have been blocked by them myself in the past, because I tried to take a survey while being on holiday.
But be aware that in addition to the actual survey section, PrizeRebel also has what is called an offer wall. Here you can find more surveys as well. There should be some there that are not offered through YourSurveys. Maybe some of these will work for you.
Or you can write the PrizeRebel support. Maybe there is a technical issue. They have a good support that usually gets back with solutions quickly. I would also suggest you to look into sites like YouGov and Superpay.me as alternatives to the sites you have already joined. They might give better opportunities for you, as it also very much depends on your specific location/city.

Most of the times you will not get credited right away. Usually later the same day you should be able to see the points in your account if you were able to complete a survey. If not, then you should write to Toluna’s support and ask them as there then might be a glitch.
There is not as such a way to get more surveys, unfortunately. That is one of the reasons I advice to join more survey sites as you will then get access to more surveys.

I have just double-checked with the PrizeRebel support, and PrizeRebel DO accept members from Malaysia. The amount of available surveys will be lower than in for example English-speaking countries, as there is less research demand. But you should definitely be able to join and also be able to find some surveys, offers, and tasks there.
I was told that the best chance of finding the available surveys, if you are in Malaysia is to first of all check out the “Daily Surveys” section.

Mobrog is a waste of time, they asking you with a lot of Q and it’s look like a surveys to me and at the end they will tell you, you’re not suitable for the questionnaire… Mobrog is a total scam.

There will be surveys you do not qualify for on all survey sites. In my experience it does however happen often on Mobrog, but I am am also often able to take surveys there. I also know many other people have great experiences with it, so it is definitely not a scam since it does pay people, and it does offer paid surveys, as it says it does.
There are just some survey sites that are not a good match, and where you will end up finding it difficult to qualify. This does not necessarily mean it is a scam, but that it is just not working for you, and the there are luckily other great sites that will hopefully work better then.
I do appreciate you sharing your experiences – it is always great to hear about other experiences, and it will help visitors to this website make better choices. So thank you for that. In my experience I would however not say Mobrog is a scam, as it is possible to take surveys there, and they do pay for it, even though it might sometimes be difficult to find the surveys you qualify for.

I have to disagree with that. I am from Malaysia and since last year, I have collected USD31.50 in my paypal account, from MOBROG surveys.
Yes, it does take lots of patience and effort, and me personally had the same experience; halfway doing the surveys, they will suddenly cut short of the surveys and left you hanging (or cursing, in my case).
But, trust me, patience and effort are the most important. And always check your email for the notification from them.

Hi. I’m new to this paid surveys. I discovered most payments are done through PayPal account. I would like to ask if we will be charged when receiving payments. On most survey sites there is no fee to payout to PayPal. There are a few that has a fee for it, and some has a fee, if you are taking out a small amount, but then it is free if you wait until you have earned a bit more.
So it depends on the particular survey site, but most of them do not charge a fee for it.

It is 100% legit! And I am from Malaysia myself. You’ll get rejected most of the time but with patience and lots of hard work, you’ll get paid. So, my point is, Mobrog is one of my fave survey sites.
How do you do it?

You choose the survey sites you want to join based on the list above. Then you click the join button and will just have to sign up with name and email.
On some sites, you will then be able to see the available surveys right away, and on others, you have to wait until you receive an email invitation. So make sure to check your inbox and also check the spam folder.

I work at a global market research company in Malaysia. Basically, there’s no right or wrong way to take a survey, only whether you’re the ideal respondent for the survey.
ALL respondents for a survey will go through a “screener” so that the right respondents meets the requirements of the study. For e.g. Pepsi Co would like to know how many middle aged person aged 25-45 buys Pepsi, and if you’re 46 years old, you do not qualify for that survey.
Other than that, the number of required completes (qouta) also affects your “complete” status. This means that if the study requires 150 completes, and while halfway doing the survey somebody else completed the 150th survey successfully, yours will be not necessary.
No survey will ask you to pay upfront for any survey.

Have been trying Mobrog and Toluna. It seems alright so far. But Mobrog has many which says we are not qualified after completing the survey which is a total waste of time plus it pays very little each time.

I want to ask something. I see that most of these sites use paypal as a way to redeem point so I started to think to make paypal acc but then it ask me 2 option, buy with paypal or receive payments with paypal. so for this sites what do I have to choose. I am confused.

Yes, that can be a bit confusing what to choose as the explanation on the PayPal sign-up page is not very clear.
But you just choose the “buy with PayPal” option. The receive is for businesses that are selling and receiving money through PayPal.

I am not sure if you can receive from survey sites with that type of account Aiman. I have not tried using that type. I would suggest you to contact PayPal and ask.
The “Buy with PayPal” option is where you as a normal consumer can just receive money to your PayPal account and use the earnings to buy stuff online with your PayPal account or transfer the money to your bank account. The receive payments option is, as far as I understand, mostly for business owners selling services and receiving the payments from their customers.

Great question. I do a lot of research and testing and I also talk with people from different countries and get feedback from users on my website. In addition to this, I often get in contact with the companies behind and try to get info about the amount of opportunities they have in different countries.
I put in quite a lot of work to put together specific lists as I have seen many other sites just automatically mention any site that is available and they are rarely very useful. I am instead trying to do my best to look into which sites actually offer good opportunities in each country.
But if you have different experiences or opinions about some of the lists I would love to hear about it. Always great to get feedback from visitors to my website.

Not qualifying for surveys will happen on more or less all survey sites and for everyone. It can sometimes take a bit of patience to test the different types of surveys and find the ones you mostly qualify for. Which sites have you used to take surveys on so far?
I have used toluna, lifepoint, mobrog, your voice, ysense so far. I have filled my profile. But still some of the survey disqualified me after I answer I’m a male. It said I’m not the targeted respondent. They may target female I guest? But they should know I’m male as I completed my profile. Why they still sent me the incompatible survey?
Ysense always ask about which state you live. I gave the right answer but they disqualified me. I wonder what for filling up my profile, because they still don’t know where I live. Distribute me a incompatible survey. Sometimes once I clicked the survey, it straight away disqualified me.
Your voice also got problem. Your voice does sent me the survey. But always asked me to update profile. Once I clicked, it said you have completed the profiles. I clicked the survey in email again. The same thing happens again.
Mobrog does send me survey, but not of the single survey I’m qualified.

There will always be surveys you do not qualify for. It is not just about whether you are male or female. It is about your profile in general. For example, if there is a survey about meat but I am a vegetarian, I might still be offered it, but after a few questions, it will be clear that they cannot use my feedback for anything and therefore will not qualify. You can check out this article about qualifying for surveys that will explain more.
Also, if there are some sites you have a hard time qualifying for the surveys on, remember that many of them also offer other ways to earn so make sure to use some of these as well.

It depends on how you define a good income. Surveys and get-paid-to sites are one of the easiest ways to start earning money online as you can start earning from day one and there is no cost involved.
But I always make sure to make it clear that it is NOT a way to become rich or make a living. It is a great way to earn some extra money and have your opinion heard, but it should be done with the right expectations – so you can expect to make some extra money on the side but do not do it if your goal is to make a living online.

Many of the sites listed above also offer other payout methods than just PayPal.
But if you want to use PayPal you can just create a free account and transfer the money there. Once you have them in your PayPal account you can then transfer them to your bank account or use them online.

I have a problem here and hope you can help. Most of these surveys are from US and Europe. Usually by the time I noticed the survey in my email ( Malaysian) they have received the number they required. What is the best Malaysian time to do these surveys. Our time is GMT + 8
Examples are Surveoo, Surveyeah, Surveytime, Ipsos, ySense and Metropolitan
There is no way to qualify for all surveys. Not qualifying for surveys is a part of taking surveys, and it happens all the time for everyone. But there are some things you can do to optimize your chances of qualifying. I have an article about it here.
Have you heard about malaysurveys? Is it legit?
I just checked it, and it is not actually a survey panel where you can earn. They will just promote different panels to you that you then have to join to actually earn. So a waste of time, in my opinion.

Have you try Milieu Surveys yet? As a malaysian i can say this survey app one of the best i ever try. The UI are amazing too. Easy to use. Easy survey will not get disqualified. Good point system. Easy to withdraw. I’ve withdraw here multiple times.
