CARV: Data to Earn, which is now called CARV Play, is a platform that claims you can earn crypto while playing games.

What is CARV, and what does it offer?
CARV Play (used to be called CARV: Data to Earn) is a Get-Paid-To (GPT) platform that will reward you for playing games.
However, it's only one part of what the CARV Platform offers. So, for this review, I'll just focus on how you can earn by playing games.
Now, the first step in finding out if it is worth your time or not is to understand how it works.

Option 1 – Playing Games
One way to earn from CARV is by playing the games you’ll find inside the platform. Before we talk about this, I have to tell you that I found the platform quite confusing because it won’t really tell you how you’re supposed to earn.
During your first login, you’ll go through a sort of tutorial, which is not really very helpful in showing you how to earn from it. So, if you don’t have any experience with this kind of platform, it can take a while to figure out how to earn from it.
Apparently, each game has a task/mission you must complete to earn rewards. Most of the time, these missions/tasks will just involve playing the game for a certain period, joining Discord channels, following social media pages, etc.
Sometimes, it will ask you to complete an in-game purchase. This type of mission typically offers the highest rewards, but they are not the most profitable options, in my opinion. That’s why I tend to ignore these types of missions and just go for the ones that don’t involve making purchases.
When you complete a task/mission, you will earn the specified reward, which will usually be in the form of points or gems. Later, I will discuss what you can do with the rewards you’ve earned.
Option 2 – Events
You can also earn from the events on the platform. Again, it's a bit confusing, but from what I can see, you'll need to join the events to earn rewards. These events have tasks you can do to earn more rewards. But just like the earning opportunity above, it’s also not quite clear what you must do to earn from it.
You’ll have to spend some time figuring out how it works. Apparently, you’ll just choose an event you can work on and complete the tasks of the event.
These tasks will also usually ask you to submit screenshots proving that you’ve completed the tasks. If you manage to complete the tasks, you’ll earn the specified rewards, which will usually be in the form of USDT. Later, I will also discuss what you can do with the USDT you’ve earned.

How do you get paid?
The earning opportunities CARV Play offers will let you earn points, gems, and USDT. Now, the question is, what can you do with the points and gems you've earned?
Well, as you can see in the photo above, you can use the points or gems you've earned to redeem raffle entries. These raffle draws will usually offer a gift card as a prize. The gift cards I found while testing the platform were for PlayStation, iTunes, Nintendo, and even for specific games.
The number of points or gems required to redeem a raffle entry will depend on which raffle draw you want to join. As for what you can do with the USDT you've earned from events, you can withdraw them to any crypto wallet as long as you’ve earned at least $1.
In my opinion, its payout system is a bit disappointing because it really doesn't offer any guaranteed payout. The only guaranteed reward you get is the USDT you earn from events.
This is why I would say its payout system is not that great. If you are interested in sites that use a simpler and easier payout system, I recommend you check out the top sites that pay via PayPal instead.
How much money can you make?
From what I observed while testing CARV Play, you will not earn a lot from it. The USDT you will earn from the opportunities will be very minimal. The ones that will reward you with a significant amount will usually be those that will involve making purchases.
As explained above, all you get when playing games is a chance to win gift cards, which isn't very appealing, in my opinion, because there's no guarantee you will be rewarded for your time.
In my opinion, sites or apps that don't offer guaranteed rewards are not worth your time. So, overall, I would say its earning potential is very low. You’ll have to invest a lot of time to earn a significant amount from it.
Can you use it on a desktop?
CARV Play has a mobile app that you can download, and it works on both Android and iOS devices. However, it's also a bit confusing because they are using different names. On the App Store, it uses Data Playfair (refer to the photo below).
But on Google Play, it still uses the old name, which is Data to Earn. I'm not sure why they used different names, but it just adds to the confusion, which isn't good, in my opinion.
Now, as I’ve mentioned earlier, the app is not very user-friendly, in my opinion. It does a poor job of explaining how the app works. If you don’t have any prior experience with GPT apps, then it can take a bit of time to figure out how it works.
And even if you do have experience with GPT apps, it will still take some time to understand everything it offers. That’s why I would say the overall user experience it provides isn’t great, and the only way to improve it is to explain clearly how the app works, in my opinion.
One thing they added since I first tested the platform is that it now has a web-based platform you can use. It still does a poor job of explaining how you can earn, so there's really no difference in terms of the user experience it offers, in my opinion.
Who can join CARV?
The app doesn’t tell you exactly which countries it is available in, but from what I can tell, it is available more or less worldwide. The best way to find out if it is available in your country is to search for it on your app store. If it appears among the results, then that means it is available in your country.
To sign up, you must install the app first. Then, you can log in using your email address. You can also sign up using your MetaMask, Google, or WalletConnect account.
After you are done with the registration process, you can log in to the app and start earning.
Can you get support?
If you have questions about the platform, you can check out its FAQ page. However, it still doesn't provide a lot of useful information. So, if you have questions, you will need to contact support to resolve them.
To do so, you must submit your inquiry via email to support@carv.io. This is the only mode you can use to get in touch with their support team, which is why I would say that even though it provides an easy way to ask for help, it would have been better if it provided a useful FAQ section that addresses the most common concerns and explains the earning opportunities clearly.
It will go a long way towards improving the overall user experience because you will understand how the platform works quickly. But as it is now, I would categorize its support as “Poor”, in my opinion.
Final Verdict
CARV Play is a platform that will let you earn rewards by playing games and joining events. It has a couple of decent features, but it has more limitations than benefits, in my opinion.
Let me conclude this review by summarizing its pros and cons so you can see a clear overview of what it offers. Then, you can determine if it is worth it or not.

In my opinion, CARV Play is not worth your time. It does a poor job of explaining how the earning opportunities work, and its payout system is not great because it doesn't offer a guaranteed way for you to earn by playing games, only by joining events.
As it is now, you are better off investing your time in apps or sites that offer a more pleasant user experience and a guaranteed way to earn, in my opinion.
It’s not a good thing to spend a lot of time trying to figure out how a platform works. Personally, it would be better if you could start earning immediately after signing up. If you have to spend time figuring out what to do, then the app or site has already failed you in providing a good earning opportunity.
That’s why, if you are looking to earn online, I suggest you check out the top survey and GPT sites in your country instead. The sites and apps on this list all have good earning potential, so you can earn a significant amount quickly.
