I noticed that I only qualify for surveys about 5% – 10% of the time. Some give you a few points despite disqualifying, but that’s actually peanuts. I tried all the survey websites for South Africans.

Yes, on many of the sites you have to be 18 years old to join, but there are also some that allow you to join if you are younger. You can see this in the terms on each platform.

The threshold is the amount you need to earn before you can take your earnings out. So a low payout threshold means it will be faster to you to be able to get paid.

Those ones are definitely not only for the US. Myself and many others that do not live in the US are earning from those platforms.

What the best payout method is depends on your personal preferences. Some platforms charge a fee when the process the payments, and others do not. You can see this in the payout sections on each platform. As fr getting paid directly into your bank account, very few platforms offer this in South Africa. In most cases, you would need to first get it into, for example, PayPal, and then transfer it to your bank account from there.

Your gaols are definitely realistic. But to reach that level, you need to build an online business and you need to be aware that it will take time and effort.

I currently have just over $11 therein and the payment threshold is now $30. That’s the message I received when I tried to cash out. Another thing, I no longer get surveys from them and I think it’s because I’m now 57 years old. Do you know anything about that? I get rejected each time I fill out a form for a survey on their website.
If you have problems with getting surveys from a specific site, then just use others instead. Also, there are many of the sites on the list above that offer other ways to earn, if you have problems finding paid surveys.

hi there…it’s a good list of sites…but have you tested them, because for instance Panelstation don’t pay via PayPal but Paytm…and getting Paytm to n SA is restricted and some of the sites if you check reviews are very low on the totem pole.. but thank you anyways
Yes, I have tested all sites myself. And I clearly say on the list above that Panel Station does not pay in cash. And if you go to the full review, you can see that I write more about the payout options and that they vary from country to country.
As for you saying that some of the sites have poor reviews, then you should, in my opinion, be careful believing too much in review sites like Trustpilot for sites like this as they can easily be manipulated to look both better or worse than they really are. Firstly thank you for this information together, it’s incredibly. However, please note that some of the surveys you have listed are either no longer accepting new people (Univox) or do not open (Prize Rebel).
I did not open all, but those two had issues.
Univox usually only accepts a limited number of new members every month so they should open up again for spots next month.
As for PrizeRebel, it works fine when I test it so maybe there was a temporary glitch when you tried it?

When I request why I was told that I was registered at too many surveys.

If you try to fake your country, you will get banned so do not do that.
As to why they say there is something wrong with your account I cannot say. Maybe because you have tried to take the same surveys on several sites. If not, then try contacting their support and ask them.

I have used CryptoTab and here is my personal opinion:
There are two ways to earn here. By allowing your computer to mine Bitcoin in the background or through their affiliate program. The latter is the only way to make decent money and that’s if you have a huge following on social media to get people to click on your affiliate link. Mining in the background is a waste of time because the browser uses a lot of energy and you don’t make much. So it’s actually using more electricity then mining you some Bitcoin. That’s not really great for the environment, if you care about the environment.
So the only way to make money here is through their affiliate program and you need to be famous on social media for that to pull in more people to use CryptoTab. A total waste of time if you’re not prepared to put in the extra work.

Please check your mailbox for confirmation email – my cousin even sent me an invite from their site but to no avail. Have registered with other survey sites so know it is not my side, would you suggest I contact their support team and are they worth the effort?
Did you check your spam folder? If it is not there, you can try contacting the support. Or just focus on other sites. There are many other great options.

I did not join Lifepoints because on your review you said that the support was not good and the comments said that lot of people was kicked out. But the comments were from long ago. Then I saw another review where they say that it was a good site and has a lot of surveys. That is why I am thinking about joining. My premier site was superpay.me, but their surveys are getting fewer every day. On this other review they say that Lifepoints is only available on Android or iPhone. I use windows on desktop. Would I be able to join them and would it be worth it? Could you please answer these questions. Thank you.
Overall, I think LifePoints is a very good site. In some countries, I have just heard that the support is not very fast.
As for the other review you read, it does not sound like it is accurate. LifePoints is definitely available on desktop but it is possible the person that wrote that review gets paid to recruit mobile users and, therefore, “forgot” to tell that it is also available on desktop.
I am using it on desktop myself and know many others that also are so it is definitely possible.
As for fewer surveys on Superpay.me it is a general thing for many sites at the moment. Because so many companies are closed down there are also fewer companies that order market research. And at the same time, there are more people online taking surveys as there, in general, are more people online at the moment due to the lockdown in many countries so the surveys fill up quicker.
But there definitely still are many opportunities and it is a good idea to join several sites to have access to more options. Also, make sure to check out some of the other earning options many of the sites offer if you have a day where you run out of surveys to take.

I started at the top of your list and joined the survey sites. The last one that I joined was Superpay.me . I accepted their terms of use and privacy policy. In it they say that you are not allowed to do a survey more than once. They say your account will be closed if you do a survey more than once.
Only when I started doing the surveys, I came accross surveys from Surveytime, which I joined earlier. When I saw it was from Surveytime, I closed the tab and got out of it. What am I supposed to do when I get a syrvey that I have possibly done before?
How can I close my Surveytime account, because I would rather stay with Superpay.me because they have more work to do?
Great you are aware of this. If you see a survey you have done before, just do not take it.
But you do not have to close your Surveytime account – you can just not use it and just take the surveys through Superpay.me instead. If you do not log in on Surveytime you will know that you have not taken any surveys there and can just do them elsewhere instead.

No, you do not need a credit card – it is completely free to join PrizeRebel. As for PayPal you only need that if you want to get paid via PayPal. But if you do not want that, you can just join and then use one of the many other payout methods it offers.

They actually pay out automatically to the email address you register with. So you would need to contact their support if you wanted to change this. But it is completely free to get a PayPal account and only takes a few minutes to set-up so if you are planning to use survey and Get-Paid-To sites it might be a good idea to just create your own PayPal account right away.

Yes, when you create a PayPal account, you will have your email address attached to it. And then all you need to do to receive money from someone is to give them that email address. And many survey sites use the email you sign up with and payout to that automatically. Hope this explains it.
And yes, Surveytime also pays to that email address.

The demographics depend on the site and is different from site to site and from survey to survey so it is difficult to say anything precise about it. But in general, there rarely is an upper limit but there will often be fewer available surveys for people 65+. But that does not mean there will not be any available surveys or other available methods to earn a bit of extra cash on the sites that offer other options.

The earning potential depends a lot on the country you live in and as I also mention, you should not expect this kind of earnings from surveys in South Africa.
If you are interested in putting in 8 hours per day and want to create a full-time income, then there are other ways online that are better for you. The surveys can be great as a bit of side money and they are completely free to get started with.
But whether it is the best option for you depends on your goals. Because you will likely not be able to find enough surveys to do it for 8 hours and if you have that much time there might be better online options depending on what you are going for.

So basically right now I’m working a full-time 9-5 job but I actually really hate it. I do an online digital marketing course in my free time (amongst other things).
I’m actually looking to quit my job soon and focus full-time on studying what I really love doing. The problem is, in the meantime, I need a constant stream of income to cover living expenses which amounts to just under $400 so it isnt too much.
Was wondering if you maybe have any options I can look into which gets me such an income
The thing about making money online is that there is no fast solution to make a lot of money. But there are many ways where it is possible to earn $400 or a lot more per month. However, most of the methods will take quite some time to build up to that amount.
In South Africa, this will probably not be possible with surveys and get-paid-to sites which are the options you can get started with right away. The advantge of them are, however, that you can start earning right away and they are completely free.
Can I ask you which course you are taking?
Because an option could also be to join freelance portals to do some side jobs and outsource some of your skills and then combine this with some surveys and online micro-tasks. You can also check out my article about making a full-time income online. This has great potential but it takes hard work and some time to get it going.

If you want completely free ways to earn online in South Africa, paid surveys is one of the best ways and the sites on the list above are the best there. However, I cannot promise you can make that amount of money just from paid surveys as it depends on an many things. But it can definitely give you some extra cash on the side.
If you want to earn more, you can also consider other micro-task sites, freelance portals, or if you do not mind investing a little, you can also start your own online business, which can eventually bring in a good full-time income – that requires a lot of work, but if you are interested in this I can give you some ideas for the best way.
So what the best approach is, depends on your goals and expectations.

It is very difficult to say about an average earning per month and it depends on so many things. Some people make maybe $50 and others make up to $500. I have even seen it possible to make up to $1000 but this is definitely not average and I strongly believe that will not be possible in South Africa. But one way to increase your chances of earning is by also using some of the other earning methods some of the sites offer.
But it is very difficult to predict an average earning. One thing I can say for sure is that it can make you some extra cash but it is not a way to make a living. So if surveys are the right option for you depends on what you mean when you say you are looking for an extra income?
With the right expectations, it can be a great option but it depends on what you are looking for.

No, you will not always get a survey invitation via email. It depends on the site. Mostly the get-paid-to sites that offer many different ways of earning do not send out email invitations as they have many daily opportunities, so there you have to check yourself.
So you need to check on the specific site. Some send out emails and others do not.
